This Cookie Policy explains how Vita OS Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, www.vitaos.com, and on the web version of our app, app.vitaos.com. How the VitaOS iPhone and Apple Watch apps handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, do the same job of keeping information on your device between visits. In this policy we call them all cookies.

3. Our website

Our website does not set any cookies. It does not store anything on your device, it does not use analytics or advertising tools, and it does not load content from other companies that could track you.

4. The web app

When you sign in at app.vitaos.com, the app uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your settings. These are strictly necessary: without them you would be signed out every time the page reloads. Under UK law, strictly necessary cookies do not need your consent.

The web app does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. When you pay on Stripe's checkout page, Stripe sets its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud. These are covered by Stripe's own privacy and cookie policies.

6. If this changes

If we ever add analytics, advertising or any other cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent before setting them, and we will update this policy first.

7. Managing cookies

You can see, block and delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Clearing local storage for app.vitaos.com will sign you out of the web app.
